Senso KCQ is specially designed to fit the advanced keratoconic cornea in which no acceptable fit can be achieved with a Senso KC lens. The unique quadrant-specific design is developed to fit the typical drop shaped appearance of the advanced keratoconus.

  • For who?

The Senso KCQ offers the ideal fit in case of advanced keratoconus. Keratoconus is a condition in which the normally round, dome-like cornea becomes thin and develops a cone-like bulge. This unusual form makes it impossible to successfully wear regular contact lenses. In case of advanced keratoconus, a standard lens will stand off inferior with increased discomfort and risk that the lens will be pushed out by the lower lid. Senso KCQ is designed for these cases. The quadrant-specific design ensures a stable fit of the lens while maintaining optimum comfort. A qualified optometrist, ophthalmologist or contact lens practitioner can diagnose this condition.

  • Use

The Senso KCQ can be worn daily with a maximum of up to a year. It is advised to replace the contact lens every 12 months.

To rinse, disinfect, store and apply your Senso KCQ contact lenses, Ever Clean or GP Multi in combination with the GP Cleaner is advised.

Ever Clean consists of a disinfection solution based on 3% hydrogen peroxide in combination with a bipartite tablet. The tablet consists of a green and a white layer. The white layer immediately starts cleansing and, reinforced by the ‘SELF-ACTION’ effect, removes protein. Simultaneously, the green layer arranges the delayed neutralization and extension of the hydrogen peroxide disinfection process.

GP Multi is an all-in-one contact lens solution especially suitable for RGP contacts. It contains a substance called Poloxamer that ensures a clean lens surface and prevents micro-organisms from atteching to this surface. Two moisturizers (HPMC and PVP) increase the wearing comfort of the lens. Additionally, GP Multi provides an extra protective and comfortable layer on the lens.

GP Cleaner is very effective, removing even the most persistent proteins. The non-ionic cleanser contains parts that eliminate lipids attached to the contact lens surface. GP Cleaner must always be used in combination with GP Multi.
